 1. This photo caught my eye because of the car in the back-ground. It is an old fashion car but what i didn't understand was the front wheel was on the side of the hood but not touching the ground. 

2. There where to many white people and hardly any black people. Black people where ignored, invisible, and forgotten, But James Van Der Zee didn't see any of it that way. 

3. Van Der Zee produced the most comprehensive documentation of the period.
